Grease Filters

Product Description 

We can supply replacement grease filters for existing kitchen canopy systems, constructed from stainless steel or galvanised steel with mesh. Mesh grade filters are an economical solution for commercial kitchen extraction  system, the mesh layers catching grease which are available in different thicknesses. this filter arrangement will reduce duct cleaning frequency and offers some protection from grease fire hazards in the ducts. the grease filters must be removable for cleaning.

Stainless steel baffle type grease filters are extremely durable and will enhance the performance and life of the extraction fan, It also reduces flames from travelling into the extraction duct. Baffle filters are manufactured from rolled SS430 stainless steel. The filters interlocked walls and smooth surface allow grease to drop through the drainage holes

All Grease filters are available with or without lay in flat handles and drain holes, the baffle grease filters are 45 mm Deep.

Recommended Face Velocities

• Mesh galvanised or stainless steel grease filters 2.5 m/s
• Baffle stainless steel grease filters 1.5 m/s

Fixing Arrangements

•  velcro can be stitched to the perimeter of the filter wich can be attached to a self adhesive strip.
• pull tags can be stitched to the filter to aid removal
• wire frame filters can be folded to any reasonable angle or hinged.
• if higher fire retardancy is required then UL94VO grade media will give a much higher specification.
